election is important. But 2008 may well be the
most historic and significant election of our
lifetime. We are seeing record breaking voter
registration numbers in
We join
with our friends and colleagues from other
parties and within the nonpartisan community
and government to say we will do our part to
protect all voters’ rights. No voter, once
registered, shall be denied their right to vote
by intimidation or other means. But the most
significant voter suppression problem we must
overcome is that which is self imposed. You
can’t vote if you don’t register to vote and we
have only seven days left.
